Chaman: Speaker Balochistan Assembly Capt (R) Abdul Khaliq Achakzai Chairs Open Court, Orders Immediate Resolution of Public Issues
Chaman (Syed Sardar Mohammad Khondai) – An open court (Khuli Kachehri) was held at the Assembly Hall, DC Complex Chaman, aimed at resolving public grievances directly and improving governance in the district.
The open court was jointly presided over by Speaker Balochistan Assembly Captain (R) Abdul Khaliq Khan Achakzai and Deputy Commissioner Chaman Habib Ahmed Bangalzai.
A large number of tribal elders, religious scholars, national elders, local dignitaries and citizens participated in the session. The participants presented their complaints and suggestions regarding NADRA, electricity supply, unemployment, and sanitation, among other basic issues.
Citizens demanded regular cleaning of streets, drains and roads, drainage of standing water, timely disposal of garbage, and particularly improvement of the sanitation system around hospitals and other public places to provide a clean and healthy environment.
The Speaker of the Balochistan Assembly and the Deputy Commissioner of Chaman listened to all complaints patiently and issued instructions for immediate action to the officers of the relevant departments present on the spot. They made it clear that no delay in resolving public issues would be tolerated and that every possible relief would be provided to the citizens.
During the open court, a detailed review of the ongoing development projects in the district, including the BSDP, and the provision of basic facilities was also conducted. The concerned officers briefed about the performance and progress of their departments.
On this occasion, Speaker Balochistan Assembly Captain (R) Abdul Khaliq Achakzai said that solving public problems and providing basic facilities is the top priority of the government, and direct contact between the public and the administration can solve problems more effectively.
Deputy Commissioner Habib Ahmed Bangalzai directed the officers to take action on priority basis on the applications received in the open court.
Officers of the district administration, police, Chaman Scouts and various government departments were also present in the court.
